I love computers and I love software. Most of my work and daily computing is done on my laptop, which was pretty high end when I bought it.
MSI - GE75 Raider 8SE
It's a powerful machine, pretty heavy for a laptop, but still portable. As a gaming laptop it has quite the specs and it can handle anything I want to throw at it.

My other machine is a cheap gaming PC I bought off Ebay on a whim. It's not as powerful as the laptop, but for the price I paid for it - it does an excellent job.

I had both computers before I had the idea of Ash and The Omen, so I didn't have to buy anything extra (so far).
Time for hardware - none, as I already had it.
Cost - less than £2000, but one could do it with the cheap Ebay PC only (about £600)
Time spent researching if my machines can actually handle what I was about to do - a week.
PS - Later on I decided I needed a third one. Something smaller and portable. The laptop I had on my dinner table (yes, I'm one of them that has a computer in each room) wasn't going to handle any of that.
